Polyurea technical indicators
*Polyurea prepolymer**: produced by the reaction of isocyanate (such as MDI or HDI) and polyether/polyester polyol, providing fast curing and weather resistance. - **Amine chain extender**: used to adjust reaction speed and material mechanical properties. - **Pigment/Filler**: Inorganic color paste or weather-resistant filler (such as titanium dioxide, quartz sand), which imparts color and enhances pressure resistance. - **Auxiliary**: Defoaming agent, leveling agent, UV absorber (for outdoor anti-yellowing).
*1. Tensile strength**: ≥15 MPa (ASTM D412). -
2. **Elongation at break**: ≥200% (ASTM D412), high elasticity suitable for dynamic substrates.
3. **Hardness**: Shore A 85-95 (ASTM D2240), or Shore D 40-60 (adjusted according to formula). -
4.**Wear resistance**: Taber wear (CS-10 wheel, 1000g/1000 rpm) ≤ 40 mg (ASTM D4060). -
5. **Impact resistance**: A 1.5 kg steel ball can be dropped freely for 1 meter without cracking (ASTM D2794).
6. **Adhesion**: concrete substrate ≥3.5 MPa (pull apart method, ISO 4624); steel ≥6 MPa. -
7. **Temperature resistance**: -40℃ to 150℃ (long term), can withstand 180℃ in the short term.
8.**Chemical Resistance** (soaked for 28 days, ASTM D1308):
9. Acid resistance (10% H₂SO₄): no blistering, no corrosion;
10. Alkali resistance (20% NaOH): no change in surface;
11. Oil resistance (gasoline, diesel): no swelling, no softening.
12. **Salt spray resistance**: ≥3000 hours without rust (ASTM B117, used in coastal or industrial environments).
13. **UV aging resistance**: QUV test for 2000 hours, ΔE≤2 (outdoor type needs to add anti-UV agent).

-1.**Substrate treatment**: Concrete moisture content ≤8%, surface pull-out strength ≥1.5MPa, clean and free of oil stains.
2. **Mix evenly**: Manual mixing must ensure that components A/B are fully integrated (a power mixer is recommended).
3. **Warm** gel time**: 30 seconds to 3 minutes (25℃), suitable for rapid manual scraping or roller coating.
4. **Skin drying time**: ≤10 minutes (25℃).
5. **Recoat Interval**: 1-24 hours (no sanding required).
6. **Construction temperature**: substrate temperature 5-50℃, air humidity ≤80%.
7. **Recommended thickness**: single channel 1-2mm, total thickness 2-5mm (layered construction is required to prevent sagging).
8. Temperature control**: In low temperature environment, the material needs to be preheated to 15-25℃.
